BHADERWAH,JAN 02 (KNO) : Started her carrier as ASI in Jammu and Kashmir Police Rabia Ajaz Kelu of Bhaderwah is now Dy SP Jammu and Kashmir Police . The Government has ordered promotion of Rabia Ajaz Kelu , Inspector traffic Urban as Deputy Superintendent of Police. An order to this effect was issued by Home Department recently. Appointed as ASI in Jammu and Kashmir Police Rabia Ajaz Kelu have donned the khakhi with the clear motto of delivering justice and justice only and become first women from the Bhaderwah sub district who reached the post of Dy SP and she served the department in various capacities . She is the wife of Ajaz Ahmed Kelu of Masjid Mohalla Bhaderwah who is supervisor in R&B department daughter of renowned social activist Late Nazir Ahmed Shapoo of Qilla Mohalla , Bhaderwah . Rabia is a mother of two daughters . Talking to this media person Rabia Ajaz Kelu said “I believe in women empowerment. If I can become police officer, other women and girls should also come forward to set a precedent in society. Women should feel independent and must choose the police field to contribute towards women empowerment.”she urged the women to stand for a cause and be courageous to reach top of the world.My aim is to always do best in policing. In fact, women should come in every government department which will help in women empowerment and better management as well” Rabia says.My family encouraged me to join police force .(KNO)
